Style Guides:

The library offers a guide for MLA (Modern Language Association) documentation style.

We recommend two sources for APA (American Psychological Association) style: 1.) Diana Hacker’s Documentation page; and 2.) Purdue University’s Online Writing Lab OWL.

Recommended Resources:

In-Line (Parenthetical) Citation Guide: Dr. Jim Werner, of the English Department, has created a guide to citing resources within the text of a paper.

Quoting Literary Sources: Prof. Mira Sakrajda, of the English Department, has created a guide to quoting literary sources within the text of a paper.

The Library offers a premium version of the citation software program EasyBib Academic. For help with EasyBib, refer to our guide “EASYBIB for Citations“.
