HITech at Westchester Community College

Your Future as a Health Information Technology Professional Begins Here

Westchester Community College offers a Health Information Technology non-credit training program designed to help meet the nation’s emerging need for Health IT professionals. Health care providers face the challenge of implementing electronic health record systems as part of the nationwide effort to improve patient care. Health IT professionals are key to this effort to transition medical records from paper to electronic systems. This exciting program prepares healthcare and/or IT professionals to serve as Implementation Support Specialists, Technical/Software support staff, and Trainers in health care organizations. Classes for this six-month program are held during evening and weekend hours.
