What did you like most about taking an online class?
"Perfect schedule for me, as a single mother of 3 with a full-time job - i could attend class in the middle of the night! I liked working on my own, and the work required forced me to really learn the material."
"It gave me more time to work on assignments and be able to be comfortable doing it. I was able to relax and enjoy other things at home."
"The experience has allowed me to acquire my degree and I am most grateful."
"I enjoy the ability to work mostly at my own pace, and use more of an independent study out-line. Yet, I also liked having the instructor so easily on-hand and contactable."
"I liked the flexibility of "Attending" my class when it's convenient for me....at 11 pm or 8 am. It makes schooling possible for those with families and who work full time."

What advice would you give a student considering an online course?
"Be prepared to spend a lot a lot a lot of time on it! I've taken 5 and as much as I was grateful for the opportunity, i found them to be much more work than a regular class."
"You must be dedicated to do well. It takes a lot of motivation to do well in this type of course."
"You need to be organized with time. Ask the same questions and make the same comments you would if you were in a lecture hall. The online course requires a great deal of reading since there is no lecture."

"I would tell another student considering an online course to be disciplined in their study habits and in completing the assignments. Because you are not "beaten over the head" in person if you don't complete something, you must be disciplined and organize."
"Be prepared to do just as much work as any course you took on campus. Maybe more because you have to discipline yourself to do the class work on your own time with no in-class time."
