If you have problems logging-in to Blackboard:

1. Delete all Browsing History which includes Cookies, History and Temp Internet Files (in Internet Explorer: tools > internet options > Delete - in Mozilla: tools > Clear Private Data.)

2. Close all open browsers, re-open the browser (Do not use saved Blackboard pages from your Favorites or Bookmarked urls) type directly in the address bar https://sunywcc.blackboard.com hit Enter.

3. At this point you should see the WCC Logo in the left upper corner and a yellow bar across the page. Login again.   

If you have problems using Blackboard:

1. When prompted to run Blackboard Digital signature please click "run" in the pop-up window to allow the update.

2. Make sure to allow Pop-Ups from Blackboard

If you are still having problems: Make sure to allow Pop-Ups from Blackboard, have Java enable, enable Cookies and set Cache. To see how Click Here

NOTE: Your password is the same as your Username the first time that you log on.

1. the first 4 letters of your last name, followed by...
2. first letter of your first name, followed by...
3. last 4 digits of your Social Security Number.

For example, Mary Smith SS# 123-45-6789 would logon using smitm6789 as her Username and Password (note: all lowercase - no spaces)

After your password is reset, go to "My Settings" "Edit Profile" and type your E-mail. Then click on "Change Password" and create a secret question and answer. If you forget your password, you will need the secret answer to get your password reset and emailed to you.

If you have difficulty logging in to a course, please re-check these basic steps:

• Make sure you are on the correct website! Re-enter the web address in the address bar. There is NO www in front of the address. It is: Sunywcc.blackboard.com. Be sure you enter only lower case letters with no spaces for your user name and password.

• Be sure you use the correct letters/numbers in the correct order. Your Username and Password must be entered EXACTLY as specified in the instructions
