Deborah Lutz

Deborah Lutz has been teaching Drawing 1 at Westchester Center for the Arts for three years. She also teaches 2D Design and Fundamentals of Drawing at Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York, since 2007. For the last seven years she has been a contractual educator for the Metropolitan Museum of art where she gives tours and lectures, and conducts workshops for students and teachers. Deborah teaches in the Drop-in-Drawing program held in the galleries every other Friday evening at the Met. She also teaches Seeing through Drawing; a drawing class for sight impaired artists. She has been teaching for the Morgan Library and Museum and the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum of the Smithsonian Institute since 2004.

Ms. Lutz attended the graduate program at Otis Parsons in Los Angeles and left to come to NYC to take her MFA in 1992 from The New York Academy of Figurative Art. She lives and works in Manhattan.
