• The goal of the Harold L. Drimmer Library Instruction Program is to develop information-literate lifelong learners. We believe information literacy skills foster independence and critical thinking and are an essential component of our students' development. Course-related sessions focus on library resources valuable to a course or related class assignment. Sessions include lecture and active-learning exercises and can include time for students to begin their research with a librarian
• Collaboration with faculty is essential to ensure our instruction is targeted to course objectives and specific to students' research assignments. An instruction librarian will consult with you concerning specific course assignments and tailor the instruction session to meet the needs of the faculty and students.
• We recommended that requests be made at least two weeks prior to the date of your first choice. Classes are booked in the order they are received, so early requests have a better likelihood of availability. Students benefit when instructors take an active role in the session. Please plan to attend with your class.
