Classroom Information Literacy Instruction
- Schedule your class for a library instruction session. Our librarians look forward to connecting with the students. It affords us the opportunity to sharpen their research skills, while increasing their knowledge of our facility. We are eager to collaborate with you. Let us create a lesson plan tailored to your assignment or subject.
- Guidelines
- We highly recommended that requests be made at least two weeks prior to the date of your 1st choice. Classes are booked in the order they are received, so early requests have a better likelihood of availability.
- Please forward a copy of the assignment at time of request, or at least one week prior to the class. If an assignment is not received by this time, the class will be given a general instruction/orientation.
- College policy stipulates that faculty be present, and we look forward to seeing you.
- Once you have submitted the online Information Literacy Instruction Request Form, you can contact Gloria Meisel for further information at gloria.meisel@sunywcc.edu or call 606-6968. You will receive a response within three days of your request.
