College Peekskill Extension Center Gallery curates notable digital artists in line with the facilities computer arts and new media programs. Seminars offered to students and the public explore ongoing trends and new developments in the digital era. Internship Program
Westchester Community College students are placed in local businesses as part of our internship program.These students receive extensive training in graphic design for print and electronic media. Students are skilled in new media techniques; 2D|3D animation, visual efx, game design, DVD, digital video production and editing, music technologies for audio mixing and recording engineering. Each Computer Arts Certificate graduate produces a website portfolio to demonstrate their creative and technical skills. Businesses are welcome to contact our Career and Transfer center to inquire about possible interns. Faculty and graduates affiliated with the center offer cutting edge skills in design + new media.

Open Houses and Evening Registration are offered the month or week before each semester. It is an excellent opportunity to be advised about the digital art courses or financial aid assistance. Please call our main office number for a schedule of upcoming dates. Advisors will be on-site for Digital Arts and General Education. You may register for courses at the Peekskill Extension Center for all classes at Westchester Community College.

Community
The Peekskill Extension Center is located in the downtown artist district within the City of Peekskill surrounded by many fine art galleries, the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art and the Paramount Arts Cultural Center (PAC). The Peekskill Extension Center operates a store front gallery, ongoing public lectures, community programs and exhibitions. This Fall the center will co-sponsor the first Afro-Latin Carribean Festival produced by PAC and continues to partner with the City of Peekskill School District in offering computer arts for after school Learning Enrichment Activities Program (LEAP). In addition, the center is a member of Peekskill Agencies Together (PAT) and works collaboratively with other local groups to enrich the arts community of Peekskill.
