Mount Vernon - Academic Support CenterThe Mount Vernon Academic Support Center is open to all Westchester Community College students. During the fall and spring semesters, tutors offer assistance with Writing, Reading, ESL, Math (Pre-Algebra, Beginning Algebra, and College Algebra), Spanish, CIS, and Accounting, and Principles of Inorganic Chemistry coursework. During the summer semesters, assistance is offered in Writing, Reading and Math. In addition all Pre-Nursing students are welcome.

Mount Vernon ASC tutors assist students in building academic skills and offer support and encouragement to students as they develop into active and independent learners. In the fall and spring semesters, Mount Vernon ASC staff offer workshops designed to assist students in developing skills that are essential for success in college, as well as semester end review workshops.
