Mahopac
Westchester Community College works hard to provide classes in your
community. Many of the Extension Extension Center students take classes here because
of the convenient location or they will be transferring credit back to a
different college. We also have students who are just trying to get a feel
for what a college level course entails and then move on to earn two and
four year degrees.
Mount Vernon
Westchester Community College's newest
extension center has opened at 175 Gramatan Avenue in Mount Vernon, New
York. The college offers a host of classes in a newly renovated 16,000
square-foot building. The new center is equipped with state-of-the-art computers,
cutting-edge classroom space, and advisement facilities. It offers dozens of credit courses in Business, Marketing, Foods and
Nutrition, Mathematics, English, Reading and Study Skills, etc.
New
Rochelle
Westchester Community College works

Ossining
Located in the Arcadian Shopping Center on Route 9, this center features fully equipped, state of the art science and health skills labs. In addition to courses in the life sciences, liberal arts and English as a Second Language, the center also offers professional development opportunities for those working in the health care field.
Peekskill - Center for the Digital Arts
Located in the downtown artist district in the City of Peekskill on 27 North
Division Street, this extension offers an array of credit, non-credit, ESL,
and public art exhibitions and lectures. This 20,000 square foot
facility offers convenient day and evening general education courses and a
Center for the Digital Arts. The Center for the Digital Arts hosts
five post-production studios that support the Digital Arts Certificate and
the Visual Arts and Digital Filmmaking degrees, and offers professional
instruction on cutting-edge equipment. The Center also offers a
pre-college
program in the Digital Arts during the summer for youth 7-17 years of age.
Port Chester
Westchester Community College will be
offering a selection of courses at Port Chester Middle School.
Shrub Oak
Classes offered in Shrub Oak are located at Lakeland High School just off the Route 132 Exit on the Taconic Parkway. Primarily General Education courses are presented at this extension center with offerings varying each semester. The extension center offers on-site registration and academic advisement each semester, and
ample parking. The extension center is conveniently located for all Northern Westchester
& Putnam County residents. Classes are offered Monday through Thursday
evenings from 6:30-10:00pm.
White Plains -
Center for the Arts
Founded in 1926,
the Center for the Arts has become an intensively used, well-respected
art institution resource for residents of Westchester County. A division of SUNY Westchester Community College, the school offers hands-on
individualized instruction in the visual arts and in fine crafts for all
ages and skill levels, beginning through advanced, in day, evening, and
week-end programs. The faculty includes some of the most respected
professional artists in the metropolitan area. Courses may be taken on a
credit or non-credit basis.
