NATIONAL PLAYERS Animal Farm (George Orwell’s dramatic
play)
Saturday, September 15 8:00 pm
Revolution has broken out on Manor Farm—the animals have claimed their
independence! Humans are banished and the new “Animal Farm” will be
a beautiful egalitarian paradise. Pigs, horses, goats, donkeys and
dogs—all animals are equal. They can build their new utopia, but can
they resist the corruption that led to the humans’ downfall? George
Orwell’s chilling and provocative novel is a cautionary tale that
remains relevant.The National Players production brings this
stunning allegory to life.

Fall blockbuster! REDUCED SHAKESEARE COMPANY Complete
History of America (Abridged): Special Election Edition Saturday,

This newly created slapstick tour
de force about the upcoming presidential election is as hysterical as it
is political.The trio entertains in this wild rollercoaster romp of
witty political satire. Irreverent, yet informed, a steady stream of
satire, parody and song is applied to a broad canvas, turning sacred
cows into comedic fodder. “This smash political comedy at its
brashest is delivered with breakneck speed. Nothing on the

KORESH DANCE COMPANY 20th Anniversary Celebration!

Renowned for its powerful
stage presence and high energy style, Philadelphia’s acclaimed company
has been hailed as a vital international force. Founded in 1991 by
Israeli-born choreographer and Artistic Director Ronen Koresh, this
troupe presents its audiences with an exciting and emotional blend of
ballet, modern and jazz molded into a style of choreography that is both
eloquent and explosive.The full length performance features a special
mixed repertory program honoring the Company’s 20th anniversary. The
program includes jazzbased works from the 90’s, Looking Back, with music
from the 40’s and 50’s, as well as the company’s newest work.
