Brendan Fay is a human rights activist, writer, public speaker, and filmmaker, having led social justice campaigns for immigration reform, civil marriage, HIV/AIDS awareness, inclusive parades, police reform and human rights. He founded the Irish LGBT group Lavender and Green Alliance and co-founded Irish Aids Outreach (IAC). His publications include Finding Jesus on Christopher Street in Love, published in the Lambda literary award-winning anthology, Love, Christopher Street: Reflections of New York City. Catherine Young is an award-winning contemporary dancer and choreographer based in Ireland. She teaches dance and choreography at Limerick University and is founder, director, and choreographer for the Catherine Young Dance Company (CYD). Young melds activism with dance. Her recent productions, It Takes a Village and State of Exception, address immigration and the plight of refugees.
