Community Art Project: “Embroid-Me”
Join us at Westchester Community College Center for the Arts on Saturday, February 24 from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm for a participatory community art project open to all.
As part of the reception for her solo exhibition, Interstice – Inter-stitch: The Space Between, mixed-media artist Rukhshan Haque is inviting the public to take part in the creation of a collaborative embroidery work titled: “Embroid-Me”.
No hand embroidery experience necessary. This event is FREE. Light refreshments will be served. No pre-registration necessary.
The work will go on display in the gallery at the Center for the Arts for the remainder of the exhibition.
