The objective of the program is to provide individuals with an intensive study of the language and culture of Italy and its people. Some visits will be made to major monuments, museums, and churches of Rome, Florence and Venice with on the spot lectures conducted in English by the instructor.
Evenings will be spent attending concerts, operas and other musical programs, strolling in Piazza Navona, Via Veneto in Rome, indulging in gelato in Piazza della Signoria in
Florence or Piazza San Marco in Venice. Enjoy exploring the beauty of the people, landscapes, towns, cities, and art treasures of Italy with us.
The $3075* Cost Includes:
- Travel within Italy between cities with air-conditioned motor coach
- Accommodations in twin rooms with private bath or shower
- 28 days in Rome, weekend excursions to Florence and Venice
- Continental breakfast, lunch and dinner daily
- Tours of Rome, Florence and Venice
- Visits to the major monuments and works of art including Michelangelo’s majestic Sistine Chapel and The David
- Tours of the Renaissance Vila D’Este in Tivoli, The Basilica of
St. Francis in Assisi with frescoes by Giotto; Capri, the enchanted island, Pompeii,
Padova, and the Amalfi Drive

*Air Travel to and from New York is not included. The optional air travel cost will be approximately $1,100.

This course includes daily visits to monuments,
museums, churches, and art treasures of Rome, Florence and Venice. (In

- Intermediate Italian Conversation I &
II – 3 credits each
- INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS - 3 credits
- Merchandise Plan & Control - 3 credits
- International Marketing - 3 credits
- Retail Management/Fashion Intern - 3 credits
- Textiles - 3 credits
*This course includes daily visits to monuments, museums, churches and art treasures of Rome, Florence and Venice.
Classes will be held from Mondays to Fridays. Weekends will be at leisure. Six (6) college credits will be granted upon completion of the program. Participants need to register for two courses. Tuition at $148.00 per credit for NY State residents is not included. These credits can be applied to meet any university general education requirements and they can be transferred to any college or university. Participants may audit the courses offered. A $200 supplement will apply to Fashion class students only.
Who Can Participate?
All college students, high school juniors and seniors and all other
individuals from any part of the United States.
Application Deadline: May 10, 2009

A deposit of $200 is due upon reservation.
This is refundable up to eleven (11) weeks before departure. Program
application fee is $50. Balance is due no later than June 1. Reservations
limited.
