The Modern Languages Department of Westchester Community College is conducting its third Spanish Summer Study Program in Costa Rica, from June 30 to July 30, 2007. The main purpose of this program is to offer a genuine way of satisfying academic curriculum requirements and personal goals of students of Spanish. With this in mind, students are offered a unique opportunity to experience the Spanish language, culture, natural beauty and the enchanting people of Costa Rica.
We had two very successful experiences in the summers of 2005 and 2006. The latter year, a total of 8 students from Westchester Community College, St. John's University and Horace Greeley High School signed up for the program. For 2007, a total of 15 students will be accepted into the program.
