Health Information Technology
This exciting program prepares healthcare and/or IT professionals to serve as Implementation Support Specialists, Technical/Software support staff, and Trainers in health care organizations. Medical Administrative Assistant Training Program
Have you thought about becoming a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant? Westchester Community College is offering a 100-hour workforce program that can help students prepare for the nationally-recognized Medical Administrative Assistant Certification Exam (CMAA) offered through the National Healthcareer Association. This program will teach students about the administrative procedures and knowledge needed to work in a variety of healthcare settings. The program will include training that will be needed to work with patients, medical records, finances and medical ethics and terminology. Classes will take place at the Valhalla campus September 20-December 8, 2016 in the evenings. Cost: $1,000 + $13 student fee + textbooks and exam. Classes are limited to 16 students.
