Background Information:
After graduating from Cortland State in 1973, I received a teaching position in the Yonkers School District. I taught in Yonkers until 1980, when I then went on maternity leave. After two years home with my twin daughters, I became an adjunct at WCC. During my adjunct years, I was offered a full-time position in our Math Department when a professor was on a medical leave. This temporary position lasted for two years and then I was honored with a full-time math instructor position. My dream as a
child was to become a teacher, so I have been very lucky to have my dream come true with the start of each semester. I believe that Westchester Community College offers all of our students the opportunity to make their dreams come true, just as it has for me.
