Background Information Later in my career, I worked in the IT department as a computer programmer, then as a systems analyst, and finally as a project manager for several large financial organizations including banks and reinsurance companies. I also started my own contract programming business and developed computer applications for web-based companies. I began teaching at Westchester Community College as an adjunct professor while I was studying for my master’s degree in information systems engineering. I enjoy interacting with students and as a result I accepted a fulltime position at the college. The students I teach are diverse in terms of age group and level of experience, and the courses I teach cover the gamut from discrete logic circuits to global data communication. This diversity makes for an interesting and, for me, an enjoyable time. I also enjoy sports like tennis, golf, and swimming, and outdoor activities like camping, hiking and scuba diving. |
