Introduction to the process of assessing nutritional
status; a study of the Nutrients—their Functions, Sources, Requirements, and
Utilization in the body throughout all stages of life. The role of the nurse
is emphasized wherever applicable. Class hrs. 3. Prerequisite: Admission to
ADN Program. Offered fall semester.
