Program Description:
The Certificate Program for Financial Office
Specialist is designed for individuals interested in a credit short-term
training program. After attaining proficiency in computerized
accounting, taxation and office technologies, certificate holders will
be able to assume support roles in accounting, auditing, taxation, and
general administration. Graduates of the program will be prepared to
secure paraprofessional positions such as bookkeeper, junior accountant,
account coordinator, accounting assistant, and accounts receivable and
payable clerk. Job openings are available in a wide variety of corporate
and professional settings.
The program is highly structured. Participants will
be exposed to the latest
computer technology, real world computer software and be instructed by
professionals having backgrounds in accounting, office technologies, and
education.
