Program Description:
Westchester
Community College
offers an A.S. degree in Computer Science, which enables graduates to
transfer to four-year SUNY and private colleges and universities to earn
a bachelor’s degree with two additional years of study.
This degree program emphasizes the scientific and
technical aspects of computers. Courses involve programming in different
languages such as C++ and Java, data structures, operating systems, and
computer architecture and design. Most courses include a lab component.
