Dr. Mary Lane Cobb was honored at a recent reception by the American Women of African Heritage. The group held their event at Westchester Community College earlier this month. At the reception, the group honored several women inducted into the organization's "Archive of Distinguished Women." Among the inductees were Ruby Dee, Dr. Olivia J. Hooker, Lois Bronz, Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Dr. Cobb, the wife of Westchester Community College Foundation Board Member Jim Cobb.
