WESTCHESTER COMMUNITY COLLEGE PRESENTS CHAMPIONS OF THE DANCE ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26Westchester Community College will present Champions of the Dance in an evening of Champions of the Dance presents the stars of ABC's Dancing with the Stars, PBS's American Ballroom Challenge, BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, and the latest syndicated release of The American Ballroom Challenge. The impeccable technique and passionate performances of ten of the finest dancers from around the globe will be displayed in a powerful celebration of international ballroom and Latin dance. Their artistry, gorgeous costumes, and creative staging combine in an homage to great music and intricate choreography revealing a glorious history of ballroom dance. Performances include routines to the rhythms of the waltz, foxtrot, cha-cha, rumba and more! The presentation has been created and produced by Hong Cheng, founder and producer at Aim Entertainment, Inc. and director of Dynasty Entertainment, which specializes in producing American talent in China and Asian talent around the world. She has been a competitive ballroom dancer for more than a decade. Her passion for ballroom dancing prompted her to team with co-producer Love Productions to produce Champions of the Dance. The choreography was created by and is under the direction of Taliat Tarsinov. He and his partner Maria’s professional awards and achievements are numerous including winning several national titles – the Russian National Latin Championship, the Russian National Ten Dance Championship, and the Soviet Union National Standard and Latin Show Dance Championships. They represented Russia at more than twenty World and European Championships.
