WESTCHESTER COMMUNITY COLLEGE ART EXHIBIT FEATURES INSTALLATIONS BY GAIL BIEDERMAN

Gail Biederman: In and Around will be on display in The Fine Arts Gallery at Westchester Community College from Monday, August 25 through Saturday, September 27, 2008.

The artist’s dense, web-like installations of yarn and thread stretch broadly over walls and windows, referencing the regulation and disorder of urban landscapes as well as the internal rhythms of the human body.

The Fine Arts Gallery is located on the third floor of the Academic Arts Building, across from the theatre. It is open Monday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and Thursday evenings 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Exhibitions and receptions are free and open to the public.
