2009 Celebrity Salon Series
Each spring, friends of the Foundation host notable speakers at intimate salons. These exclusive events, held inside some of the most beautiful homes in the county, help raise money for student scholarships. Dr. Joseph Hankin, President WCC, Denise and Camillo Santomero, hosts of the salon, stand with Celebrity Salon speaker, William Kristol. Kristol is founder and editor of The Weekly Standard and one of the country’s leading conservative voices.
Victoria Morris, Celebrity Salon host, and Mark Bittman, one of the country’s best-known and widely admired food writers, stand in the Morris’ organic vegetable garden before Bittman spoke to the sold out salon crowd. The series, now in its 15th season, raises money for the WCC Scholarship and Program Fund.
