TITLE OF POSITION/RANK: Software Engineer II
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: Information Technology
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Software Engineer II is
responsible for the development, maintenance & support of PeopleSoft’s
Student Administration (Campus Solutions) processes. S/he will
troubleshoot end user problems and provide quality solutions; analyze
end-user needs, document requirements and translate into proper system
design specifications; apply the appropriate life cycle methodology; develop
and maintain PeopleSoft objects, classes, methods and application packages;
develop queries and reports; test application, database, and hardware
upgrades. *This is a Civil Service position. The final
candidate will be required to take and pass the Civil Service Exam.*
QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor’s Degree and
two years of experience (pre- or post-degree) designing and programming
application software in Microsoft SQL is required. Functional and technical
knowledge of PeopleSoft’s Campus Solution processes & proficiency in current
PeopleSoft development tools (PeopleCode, PeopleTools, App Engine, Query, &
SQR) is preferred.
POSITION EFFECTIVE: The
position will remain open until filled.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
The salary range for this position is $71,685-$94,670 plus
competitive benefits.
