TITLE OF POSITION/RANK: Instructor of Psychology
(Tenure Track) DEPARTMENT/DIVISION:
Department of Behavioral & Social Sciences/Division of Business,
Behavioral/Social Sciences, Public & Human Services
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Department of Behavioral/Social
Sciences seeks a highly motivated candidate to teach introductory courses in
psychology. Assignments could include teaching general, abnormal, social,
developmental psychology or human sexuality. Innovative and knowledgeable
individuals with demonstrated experience in instructional technology,
distance learning, and student-centered approaches to course and program
development are encouraged to apply. In addition to a teaching load of
15 contact hours per semester, the candidate is expected to participate in
departmental, college and appropriate professional activities.
QUALIFICATIONS: A Master’s degree in Psychology is
required. A minimum of one year of experience in college teaching is also
required. A Ph.D is strongly preferred. POSITION
EFFECTIVE: Fall 2013 SALARY & BENEFITS:
Starting salary $57,415 plus excellent benefits. (Hiring is subject to the
