TITLE OF POSITION/RANK:  Instructor & Field Coordinator: Human Services (Tenure Track)
 
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION:  Department of Human Services/Division of Business, Behavioral/Social Sciences, Public and Human Services
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:  The Department of Human Services (Human Services/Social Work, Early Childhood Education and Chemical Dependency Counseling) seeks a highly motivated candidate to serve as Field Coordinator and faculty for the human service curriculum.  This is a tenure-track faculty appointment with teaching responsibilities and release time for administration.  Preferred candidates are innovative and knowledgeable individuals with demonstrated experience with: field internships and collaboration with community service providers;  instructional technology, distance learning; and entrepreneurial approaches to course and program development.  In addition to teaching and field responsibilities, the candidate is expected to participate in departmental, college and appropriate professional community activites to promote and develop the Department.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:  A Master’s degree in Social Work and the equivalent of one year of practical experience are required.  Three years of practical experience strongly desired. Social work licensure, experience with field internships and college teaching experience or teaching in a social work program also preferred.
 
POSITION EFFECTIVE:  Fall 2013
 
SALARY & BENEFITS: Starting salary $57,415 plus excellent benefits. (Hiring is subject to the availabilty of funds).
