TITLE OF POSITION/RANK: Division Coordinator
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: Educational Opportunity Center/

applicants need not re-apply.*) RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) of Westchester, a division of
Westchester Community College, is seeking a highly motivated, creative,
results oriented professional to join its team. Located in Yonkers, NY, this
non-traditional adult education institution provides tuition-free academic
and vocational training to eligible underserved individuals preparing for
college and/or seeking career-oriented employment. The Division
Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing a marketing and
outreach campaign and materials in English and Spanish to promote and
interpret EOC programs and services in diverse communities; developing
partnerships with not-for-profit, public and private sector entities; and
planning, assessing, monitoring and managing student enrollment and
placement activities. S/he is responsible for admissions, enrollment and
data management, career services and special events. S/he supervises
professional and support staff and assures compliance with applicable
regulations and guidelines including performance guidelines promulgated by
the State University of New York. The Division Coordinator works closely
with other EOC departments and divisions of the college to promote student
success and ensure the achievement of institutional goals and performance
standards. QUALIFICATIONS: The successful
candidate must possess a Master’s degree in Communications, Public
Relations, Educational Administration, Guidance or related fields and have a
minimum of 2 years of combined administrative experience in community
relations, educational administration, and student support services. S/he
must possess strong leadership skills, excellent administrative and
interpersonal skills, and high integrity. All candidates are expected to
have the ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, both
orally and in writing, and be able to develop and implement public
information materials and programs in both languages. Strong organizational
skills and the ability to work independently are a must. Computer
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of social networking are
required. The successful candidate must be available to provide oversight of
day and evening programs and services. POSITION EFFECTIVE:
The position will be filled immediately. SALARY:
The starting salary is $68,760 commensurate with experience plus a
competitive benefits package. This position is fully grant funded.
