Westchester Community College: Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) The Educational Opportunity Center of Westchester (Yonkers, NY), a division of Westchester Community College, is seeking a highly motivated and innovative faculty member for a tenure track position. This non-traditional performance-driven institution provides tuition-free academic and vocational training to eligible underserved adults preparing for college and/or seeking career-oriented employment.Instructor/Chair of Computer and Office Technologies (Search re-opened + Fall 2008 Semester). Coordinates and supervises all computer and office technologies programs; provides related instruction. Provides supervision, guidance, and assistance to faculty; assists in the planning and development of new programs and curricula; reviews and selects textbooks and other materials; interviews and counsels students. A Bachelor’s degree in business education or related field is required. A Master’s degree and MOS certification are preferred. The successful candidate must possess a minimum of one year of practical experience teaching business and computer courses and work readiness skills. 3 years of experience are preferred. Administrative and supervisory experience as well as knowledge of current and emerging technology needs in the job market are required.
