Position AnnouncementAdjunct Instructor, Ceramics Westchester Art Workshop, an extension center of Westchester Community College located in White Plains, NY (40 minutes from Grand Central Station via MetroNorth), is currently seeking an Adjunct Instructor in ceramics. The ideal candidate will have excellent wheel-throwing skills, as well as knowledge of hand-building techniques. A strong background in all aspects of the ceramics process (clays, glazes, firing, etc.) and knowledge of historical and contemporary issues in ceramics is required. A Master of Fine Arts degree, strong teaching skills and familiarity with the goals of a Community College visual arts program are preferred. Salary is highly competitive for an adjunct instructor.
