TITLE OF POSITION/RANK: Associate Registrar
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: Registrar and Records/Student Affairs
RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the general supervision of the
Registrar, within the division of Student Affairs, the Associate Registrar
assists with the development, planning and coordination of services provided
by the Registrar’s Office at Westchester Community College. This
position represents the Registrar in his/her absence; supervises daily
operations to include activities such as: records management, administering
the grades reporting system, academic review for graduation activities, and
supervising clerical support staff. S/he will assist the
Registrar in the organization and supervision of registration and
registration record services at the main College campus as well as extension
sites. The successful candidate will also work with the Department of
Technology to increase the efficiency of the existing PeopleSoft system to
ensure the needs of the Registrar’s Office.
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must possess a
minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and three years of experience in education,
public administration, business administration, or computer information
systems. Experience in an enrollment-related area is strongly preferred.
POSITION EFFECTIVE: The position will remain open
until filled. SALARY & BENEFITS: The salary range
is $54,460-$67,735 plus excellent benefits.
