Responsibilities: The Provost/Vice President of Academic Affairs is the college’s chief academic officer reporting directly to the President and sitting on the President’s Cabinet. The Vice President/Provost plays a vital and visible role in supporting the college’s mission by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating all curricular activities including working with full and part-time faculty, secondary schools, baccalaureate institutions, employers, and the community at large on partnerships connecting the college with the variety of professional, entrepreneurial, creative, and higher learning opportunities in Westchester County. The Vice President/Provost provides leadership to the faculty, advances teaching excellence, assures proper assessment of student learning, and confirms compliance with internal and external regulations. The Vice President thrives within the framework of shared governance and inspires faculty-led initiatives promoting student success and college completion and is supported by deans in four schools and a substantial number of educational, professional, and administrative personnel.

Qualifications: A doctorate from a regionally accredited university and five years of administrative experience, including three years in college administration, is required. The position requires experience as a proven college administrator, preferably in a unionized setting, as well as faculty experience.
Position Effective: Fall 2017
Salary & Benefits: The salary range for the position is $118,564 – $176,739, commensurate with experience.
