P/T Research Analyst
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: Institutional Research and Planning
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Research Analyst will report directly to the Associate Dean of Institutional Research and Planning. The duties of this position include collaborating with others across the college to communicate research findings, survey results and outcomes data; develop strategies for capturing and reporting student employment outcomes and technical skills attainment for Perkins programs; coordinate with chairs and faculty on identifying data needs particularly for Career and Technical Programs; communicate research results for internal distribution and work with chairs and department heads to interpret results. The Research Analyst will be responsible for working with others to improve Perkins reporting outcomes and to assist in the preparation of grant reports. S/he will be expected to analyze data and interpret research findings using descriptive, inferential and multivariate statistics; communicate research results reports for internal distribution and work with chairs and department heads to interpret results and prepare mandated reports and data files related to institutional effectiveness and benchmarking purposes. 27.5 hours per week.
QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience where the primary function of the position was the performance of complex statistical research studies and analyses using automated information systems. A Master’s degree is preferred.
SALARY & BENEFITS: The starting salary is $64,685 (pro-rated) including benefits. This is a fully grant funded position.
