ESL Program Specialist

TITLE OF POSITION/RANK: ESL Program Specialist
DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: ELI/Workforce Development and Community Education
RESPONSIBILITIES: The ESL Program Specialist manages designated ESL programs and courses on and off-campus, including testing, aspects of enrollment management, and faculty coordination. The portfolio includes the shared responsibility for management and advising of international (F-1) student enrollment. As a member of ELI administrative team, s/he will also assist with special projects and grants; and manage routine and emergency communications with faculty and students. Regular evening and Saturday program coverage is required. Local travel is also required to off-campus program sites.
QUALIFICATIONS: A Minimum of a BA degree and 2 years of experience in education is required. Additional preferred qualifications include solid TESOL training and experience and advanced Spanish proficiency. Managerial experience is also preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
SALARY & BENEFITS: The starting salary is $61,979 plus competitive benefits.
