P/T Junior Administrative Assistant
Department/Division/Location: Westchester Educational Opportunity Center (WEOC)
Hourly Rate of Pay: $11.00/hour. No benefits. This position is fully grant funded.
Responsibilities: The P/T Junior Administrative Assistant provides technical and administrative support related to program scheduling, data entry and general office support to the Academic Affairs unit. They will be responsible for entering all scheduling information into the BANNER system, ensuring that all programmatic information is updated in a timely manner, enter all community service information related to the NY HSE Testing Center, organize and track all room schedule information and perform administrative support duties as needed. Additional specific duties will vary depending upon assignment. Supervision is not normally a responsibility of this position. Specific duties may vary depending upon assignment.
Qualifications: A minimum of a high school or general equivalency diploma and five years of experience where the primary function of the position was in a staff or administrative support capacity, or where the primary function of the position was supervision of clerical positions required. The ability to work effectively with others and maintain clerical records involved in the operation, with thoroughness, accuracy, etc. is also required.
Work Schedule: This is an hourly position with a work schedule of a maximum of 28 hours.
