The Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) of Westchester, a division of Westchester Community College, is seeking a highly motivated, creative, results oriented professional to join its team. Located in Yonkers, NY, this non-traditional adult education institution provides tuition-free academic and vocational training to eligible underserved individuals preparing for college and/or seeking career-oriented employment.
Adjunct Faculty: Emergency Medical Training (EMT) – Evening. The Certified Instructor Coordinator is responsible for providing instruction in EOC’s evening Emergency Medical Training course and ensuring the academic and administrative integrity of the EMT program. Furthermore, s/he will ensure that the course is in compliance with the requirements of the EOC and the New York State Department of Health (DOH) Bureau of Emergency Medical Services (EMS). The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing, securing, and maintaining the mandated courses and student records.
The successful candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and one year of practical experience. S/he must also possess the industry appropriate certification. A Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
