Responsibilities: Seeking energetic and engaging Adjunct Faculty to teach Human Relations and/or Customer Service in a variety of vocational programs. Successful candidates will deliver a Human Relations curriculum that includes fundamental elements of human relations and its importance both in personal living and on the job with special emphasis on personal awareness, attitudes and behavior patterns with respect to racial, cultural and social conflicts and interactions, and intelligent decision-making and stress management. The Adjunct Faculty will also deliver a Customer Service curriculum that helps students explore techniques and strategies designed to maintain and exceed customer expectations with an emphasis on customer value and building customer loyalty. Successful candidates must demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of a diverse population and have the ability to work effectively with students who have barriers to employment. Specify day/evening availability.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in education or related field, Master’s Degree, and 1 year of prior group teaching or training at risk adult students required. Three (3) years of prior group teaching or training experience, of which at least one (1) year must have been with at risk, adult students strongly preferred. The successful candidate must be highly organized and detail-oriented. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication and presentation skills required.

Hourly Rate of Pay: $72.60/hour. No benefits. This position is fully grant funded.
