Adjunct Faculty at the Professional Development Center

RESPONSIBILITIESThe Professional Development Center at Westchester Community College is looking for professionals with experience facilitating training programs in corporate or nonprofit settings.  The program participants will be adults working in these organizations.

The Professional Development Center provides employee development training and training-related services to organizations in Westchester and portions of Putnam County. Our charter is to help for-profit and not-for-profit business and government organizations to grow and become more successful. We do this by running high-quality, up-to-date, affordable training programs for our clients. We need additional facilitators to run programs in the following areas: Managerial and Supervisory Skills; Selection Interviewing Skills; Selling and Customer Service Skills; Business Writing and Presentation Skills; Computer Applications, Programming and Web-Development.

QUALIFICATIONS:  A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and one year of practical experience is required. A Master’s degree is strongly preferred. Individuals chosen to run these programs work as-needed, per hour basis and are considered to be working as a member of the non-credit adjunct faculty at Westchester Community College.

SALARY & BENEFITS: The hourly rate is $48.90 and does not include benefits.
