FULL TIME FACULTY
Non-Credit Adjuncts/Healthcare: The Ossining Extension Center seeks instructors for the RN Refresher Program. Responsibilities include teaching a variety of nursing topics, assessing student performance in skills lab and coordination of students at clinical sites (hospitals and nursing homes). A minimum of a BSN, current New York State RN License and recent clinical experience required. Teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Nursing preferred. Some preceptor and/or clinical instruction experience is also preferred.
Non-Credit Adjuncts/Swim and Water Aerobics. Continuing Education seeks swim and water aerobics instructors for Continuing Education classes on weekdays and/or weekends. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. Lifeguard certification is a plus.

Non-Credit Adjuncts/Digital Arts. Seeking digital arts instructors for Multi-media Storytelling, Web Design, Digital Filmmaking, Digital Painting, and 2D Animation. Fashion Design Adjuncts. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Teaching courses related to apparel design and development which include sewing instruction using JUKI machines, pattern development, quality analysis of sewn products, apparel line development, technical product development, apparel grading and fit analysis, garment manufacturing, apparel construction, textiles, functional clothing design and portfolio design and development. The adjunct will assist students with career and program advisement and the yearly fashion show; and manage local design competitions. A minimum of a Master’s degree is required. The successful candidate must have at least 1 year of professional designer experience. 7 years of experience in technical fashion design as both instructor and professional designer are strongly preferred.
Credit adjuncts (Masters and one-year related experience required unless otherwise indicated on website): Biology, Chemistry, Communications, English, Foods – Culinary Arts, French, Journalism, Mass Media, Nursing, Physical Education (general Phys Ed, swimming instructors, and other categories), Reading.
Non-Credit adjuncts (Bachelors required): Classes for lifelong learners may include children, adults, and seniors in various locations with day, evening and weekend options. Also interested in candidates with ESL teaching experience or with corporate training background, and ideas for new classes. Visit website for information.
