Adjunct Counselor. The Counseling and Student Development Department seeks applicants for a part-time Adjunct Counselor. This position provides academic advisement, educational planning and performs advanced assignments typically associated with retention. Requirements include Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Guidance Counseling (No MSW or LCSW), and at least 1 year of professional experience in educational counseling or academic advisement. No benefits.
Dance Adjunct. The ideal candidate has experience teaching multiple levels of Modern technique, Jazz, Composition, Ballet, and/or Latin dance styles (salsa and merengue). This position requires a Master’s degree in dance and 1 year of practical experience. Pilates certification is a plus. The position requires familiarity with the community college philosophy, and the ability to work within a culturally diverse college population. Adjunct Academic Support Center Coordinator. The Adjunct ASC Coordinator will be responsible for general lab operations, coordinating lab activities. S/he will supervise tutorial activities (tutors and students) and be responsible for technical aspects, computers, smart technologies, and Blackboard. S/he will also conduct and schedule orientations, maintain & order supplies, and provide written reports on the effectiveness of the tutorial program for program review and other college informational needs. The successful candidate will assist with research & development and attend department meetings, as needed. S/he must be familiar with lab materials in both the science and math lab. The Adjunct ASC Coordinator performs other duties as required. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and three years of related experience are required. A minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience is strongly preferred. Excellent computer and interpersonal skills are required. $39.85/hour. No benefits.
Non-Credit Adjuncts/Swim and Water Aerobics. Continuing Education seeks swim and water aerobics instructors for Continuing Education classes on weekdays and/or weekends. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. Lifeguard certification is a plus.

Fashion Design Adjuncts. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Teaching courses related to apparel design and development which include sewing instruction using JUKI machines, pattern development, quality analysis of sewn products, apparel line development, technical product development, apparel grading and fit analysis, garment manufacturing, apparel construction, textiles, functional clothing design and portfolio design and development. The adjunct will assist students with career and program advisement and the yearly fashion show; and manage local design competitions. A minimum of a Master’s degree is required. The successful candidate must have at least 1 year of professional designer experience. 7 years of experience in technical fashion design as both instructor and professional designer are strongly preferred.
