In all instances, Westchester Community College’s primary concern is that those in need receive prompt medical attention. A Good Samaritan, acting in good faith to summon aid in instances in which abuse of alcohol and other drugs has created a potentially life-threatening situation, requiring an immediate response from emergency services personnel, will not be subject to Westchester Community College’s Code of Conduct action for violations of alcohol and/or drug use policies occurring at or near the time of the request for aid.
